Shipping Terms and Conditions

DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES:

Club Connect partners with HDS Transport Management System and Australia Post to facilitate delivery to the majority of locations within Australia.

Free Delivery iswith HDS Transport Management System are available within 150km radius of the GPO in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart and Launceston. 

  • Place your order by 1pm for delivery two days later – for example, 1pm Monday for delivery on Wednesday
  • When you place your order you’re able to select a time window from:
    • 10am-1pm
    • 1pm-4pm
    • 4pm-7pm
  • All Free Deliveries are at no cost to the customer. 

 

For delivery in metropolitan Melbourne, Sydney or Perth – we are able to offer On Demand business day deliveries where:

  • Melbourne, Sydney and Perth - On Demand Business Day Delivery Options
    • Next Business Day - Afternoon (1pm - 5pm) Orders placed before 5pm one business day before required, will be eligible to receive Afternoon delivery the next business day. Orders placed with this service will typically be delivered between 1pm - 5pm.

For all On Demand deliveries:

  • HDS Transport Management System will provide tracking updates via SMS. This includes an SMS to let you know when your driver is on their way so you will know when you need to be at the delivery location.
  • HDS Transport Management System require proof of age upon receipt. This means that a person 18 years or older must be present to receive the order. If your order is delivered same or next day, you will personally need to be present and show ID upon delivery.
  • If your order includes any alcohol products, HDS Transport Management System require proof of identity upon receipt to ensure the person that receives the order is the person that placed the order.  If your order is delivered same or next day, the person who placed the order will personally need to be present and show ID upon delivery.

We will offer clubs one free On Demand delivery per month. Customers will need to select On Demand Shipping Method and enter a Coupon Code at check-out for the fee to be removed from the cart total.

 

For all deliveries outside of metropolitan Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart and Launceston (including Northern Territory, Canberra and Far North Queensland)we offer Wine eParcel Delivery and all orders are delivered between 3 - 10 Business Days from order placement* depending on your specific location.

In general, orders can be placed at any time however we only deliver on week days and deliveries can only occur:

  • Between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on any day other than Saturday, Sunday, Good Friday, Anzac Day or Christmas Day.
  • Between 12 noon and 6 p.m. on Anzac Day (unless it falls on a Saturday or a Sunday).
  • No deliveries are permitted on Christmas Day or Good Friday.

Contactless Delivery:

Australia Post provide contactless delivery. Upon arrival our delivery partner will:

  • Knock and then step back, ensuring a 2-metre distance is in place always (or as far as possible in safety)
  • Request your name, visually check age ID from a safe distance and check you are sober
  • Print your name on the consignment note, as signatures are no longer mandatory
  • Deliver to an agreed location outside of the delivery location or we will deliver inside the door only. (We will not proceed any further than to have the goods safely inside and allowing the door to operate)

South Australian customer - receiving online deliveries:

If the liquor is to be delivered to an address in South Australia, the liquor may only be delivered between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm.

Signed Declaration:

You will be required to sign a declaration confirming your name and date of birth. You must also present acceptable proof of age and identity. Your name, date of birth, address and details of the identification provided will be recorded in the declaration. We are required to keep this record for one year.

If you unable to comply, we will not be able to complete the delivery.

Penalties:

It is an offence for a person under 18 to falsely claim to be of legal age or to present false identification for the purpose of receiving liquor. This offence carries a maximum penalty of $2,500.

Additionally, any person who instructs or encourages someone under 18 to accept delivery of liquor may face a maximum penalty of $10,000."
